“The Alabama Home Builders Self Insurers Fund (AHBSIF) was established in 1984 to provide eligible members of the Home Builders Association of Alabama a stable and affordable market for workers compensation coverage. Designed for builders and contractors who are subject to the revenue fluctuations in the homebuilding industry, the Fund offers participants the option of quarterly or monthly payments based on the payroll for the previous period. Residential and light commercial builders, subcontractors, suppliers, and other businesses affiliated with the construction industry benefit from Fund participation.” – ahbfund.com
